A career in our Financial Market Information and Data Analytics practice, within Financial Services Solutions, will provide you the opportunity to use sophisticated models to value complex financial instruments and design strategies that reduce risk and maximise business opportunities for our clients. We help on a wide variety of financial and valuation issues, as well as develop and test financial models, model risk scenarios, validate expertise across various financial areas, and deliver comprehensive analytics addressing client finance issues. Our team is responsible for gathering and distributing market information that supports all sectors and lines of service. Our team provides automated technology solutions to complex problems by analysing, evaluating and testing client data.

Play a role as an associate in PwC's Business Advisory Services Market Information & Data Analytics (MIDA) group working with other MIDA team members and to provide pricing and other services to various PwC audit engagement teams as well as other groups within the firm.

Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

A desire to pursue a career in professional services in an internal client facing role.

A basic understanding of:

  • Financial industry terms and unique attributes pertaining to different asset types;
  • Market data providers and data points & tools available (Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters, Moody's, etc.);
  • Various technology tools and their general development process.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
