Full-Time | Salary: $22.00 - $22.48/hour

Under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform a variety of facility maintenance repairs to ensure safe, functional, and compliant facilities. You will respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests and complete repairs across multiple building sites and systems while following safety/agency standards, and documenting.
Specifically, you will:
- Complete tasks/repairs using company phone, emails, and assignments.
- Assess properties & prepare tools/materials to complete property, furniture, or repairs.
- Repair plumbing and plumbing equipment to work properly.
- Repair sheetrock, spackle, and paint (interior and exterior).
- Inspect, repair & install electrical equipment/appliances, light switches, light fixtures, bulbs.
- Partner with contractors to coordinate/monitor maintenance and repair activities.
- Transport furniture, equipment, appliances, to assist with moves and relocations.
- Repair locks and security systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment/appliances.
- Inspect heating/cooling systems, dryers, generators, and fire safety equipment and complete repair or escalate issues; Perform basic HVAC repairs and escalates issues.
- Follow OSHA procedures for careful handling of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with visitors, contractors, vendors, and delivery people.
- Ensure walkways, entryways, driveways, and parking lots are shoveled or plowed.

We require:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Minimum of 1 year’ experience in maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work
- Knowledge and experience in the operation of power equipment and machines
- Knowledge of wallboard repair and painting
- Background in carpentry, plumbing and installing sheet rock
- Basic knowledge in electricity
- Computer literacy
