Accounts Payable Clerk

Nickle Electrical is hiring for Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk for the Newark office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a new career or entry level position into accounting.

Typical day in the life as AP:

• · Timely data entry and upload of all Accounts Payable invoices
• · Charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
• · Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements & maintain vendor files.
• · Match Packing slips to invoices to ensure proof/accuracy of delivery
• · Resolve any payment, contract, or purchase order discrepancies.
• · Serve as a liaison in fielding all vendor related payable inquiries
• · Daily interaction with the CFO, Accounting Manager, and Project Management Assistants.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum HS Diploma.
• Excellent computer skills, MS Office and Outlook.
• Organized, good time management skills, detail orientated
• Effective communicator
• Task oriented
