Van Driver

*$50 weekly enhancement through 4/22/2022*

**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)**

Position: Van Driver, Part-Time

Location: Springfield, MA

Rate of Pay: $15 per hour

Hours and Schedule: Weekdays only with paid major holidays off. Must be available to work at least 5 days a week (Monday-Friday between 6:30 AM – 9 AM and 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM (approx.).

Summary: Provide van transportation to members with physical and mental disabilities to assist them in getting to work and community activities. Responsible for ensuring vehicle is safe and in operational condition, required paperwork is completed, and performing various other duties. Must demonstrate courtesy and respect to passengers and other customers.

Qualifications: High School/GED required. Must be at least 21 years old with experience transporting passengers or delivery work preferred.

Requirements: Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years and a good driving record. Pre-employment DOT Physical, drug screening, criminal background, fingerprinting and driver history record required. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations.
